Course Description

When life throws a monster truck in your way, what do you do first? Anchor your feet firmly on the ground, wait for the worst to pass and continue your journey ahead. This was what Mr Vincent Yik, Director and Co-Founder, FirstTracks Ventures, decided to do after the headline news broke out at the end of the last year.

Synopsis:

This vodcast talks about life transitions, from working as the former Chief Financial Officer of a listed company to being the director and co-founder of his own company, and how we should define ourselves as who we are and not by our titles. Being professional, staying positive, prioritise and pivoting are Vincent’s suggestions to what one can do when thrown a curve ball in life.
