Vice Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee, OECD and Vice Minister for International Affairs of the Financial Services Agency (FSA)
Appointed on 22 July 2025, MIYOSHI Toshiyuki represents the FSA at the Financial Stability Board and other international bodies for financial regulation and supervision. He also serves as Chair of the IFRS Foundation Monitoring Board and Vice Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee, OECD.
In previous positions at the FSA, he worked on supervision of Japan’s major banks and insurers and cross-sectoral supervisory policies. He also has working experience at Japan’s Ministry of Finance on government debt management and the IMF on the international monetary system.
He holds a BA in law from the University of Tokyo and a MPhil in Politics from the University of Oxford.
